Setheist was formed in the present lineup in 2013 in Lublin but the band's history dates back to 2007 when they were locally known by the name of Seth. The first years were nothing more but a constant struggle to gather musicians who would represent a sufficient level of devotion and instrument skills. Having formed a stable lineup, in Autumn 2014 Setheist released EP „The Flash of Creation” which was warmly welcomed by the Polish metal scene and gave the band the opportunity to start gigging alongside such bands as KAT & Roman Kostrzewski, Saratan, Exlibris, Thermit, Wild Pig, Spirit.
08.05.2017 is when Setheist's debut LP „They” was released and have been receiving quite enthusiastic reviews since then.

Generally, music performed by Setheist could be described as female fronted metal offering a well balanced combination of unpredictable, proggressive riffs and ear-caching melodies accompanied by aggresive drums and stand-alone clean vocal lines.
The band's stage experience consists of shows in small clubs (Semafor in Skarżysko Kamienna, U Bazyla in Poznan, Rock Club Iron in Krosno), those big ones (Progresja, Warsaw, Proxima in Warsaw, Graffiti in Lublin), as well as huge open air festivals (Rockovani Fest in Michnowice, Przystanek Woodstock Festival, The Lech Zone Stage, Rock'n'Rose Fest in Kutno).
2018 was a great year in terms of Setheist's abroad performances as they were invited to play in Switzerland, Germany and The Netherlans to give great shows in such cities as Basel, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven and Best.
Currently the band is working on a minialbum the tracks for which have already been recorded at Heinrich House Studio and the results of the session are to be heard early 2019.
